Rugrats: Search for Reptar is a game based on the Rugrats tv series. In it, the player takes control of the Rugrats as they search for the missing pieces of Tommy's Reptar puzzle.

This article contains plot details.

The game opens to the Rugrats playing in the Pickles' home. Tommy knocks down some blocks and pretends to be Reptar. Afterwards, the babies decide to play with Tommy's Reptar puzzle. However, there is only one piece as the rest are missing. Holding up the single puzzle piece, Tommy vows to find all of the missing pieces.

Once all of the puzzle pieces are collected, the babies are shown with the finished puzzle. Tommy's dad, Stu, tells them they did a great job and Didi, Tommy's mom, puts them to bed. As Tommy falls asleep, he whispers, "Reptar". The final level then shows Reptar destroying a city on his way to city hall. When Reptar gets there, he is shown in a tuxedo and a top hat as he begins to dance.

Each level and bonus level are based on episodes from the Rugrats. In addition to these levels, there is a training level that isn't based on any particular episode.

The game has received mixed to positive reviews. Common criticisms were about the camera and collision detection. Search for Reptar was successful enough to warrant a Greatest Hits release and a sequel, Rugrats: Studio Tour.
